A CRUSHWORTHY PRODUCTION
presenting… the movie crush
starring:
nancy dragun
nancy@wallawallamoviecrush.com
Nancy does a lot of things and, frankly, deserves a nap. By day, she wrangles applications and soothes the existential dread of prospective students as the Admissions and Outreach Coordinator for the University of Washington’s Department of Architecture. By night (and early mornings and most weekends), she’s the strategic core and risk management oracle of The Movie Crush.
A Massachusetts native with a Vassar degree in art history and a razor-sharp eye for detail, Nancy loves her kids, animals, movies, Warren, good red wine, "breath-giving" architecture, blueberry pie, and the Boston Red Sox—though not always in that order.
She doesn’t enjoy writing bios, but luckily, we love writing them about her. Consider this one a standing ovation.

Warren Etheredge is a teacher, producer, author, playwright, interviewer, public speaker, and veteran festival programmer. In 2017, he relaunched the screenwriting program at the University of Washington and was appointed the VP of Curation & Acquisitions for Heyou Media. He is one of the founding faculty of TheFilmSchool, helping filmmakers translate their stories for screens big and small, and The Red Badge Project, helping combat veterans work through PTSD and other issues by teaching them the art of storytelling. He has hosted multiple television series, including The High Bar, Reel NW, and ArtsLink, and served as CSO (Chief Storytelling Officer) for Enthrall Sports. He is the director of the Auburn Adventure Film Festival and shorts programmer for The Seattle Jewish Film Festival and the Rainier Independent Film Festival.
For seven years, Warren served as Curator of the 1 Reel Film Festival (at Bumbershoot), which, at the time, was the nation’s best-attended short film showcase. Additionally, Warren is the founder of The Warren Report, based on the motto that Smarter Audiences Make Better Movies.

Co-Founder & Artistic Director
ranielle gray
Like any beloved franchise that gets a reboot far earlier than decency allows, Ranielle returned as Managing Director in 2024 after a brief hiatus. She’s been around since the beginning—literally. From interning under Warren's supervision at the 25th Seattle International Film Festival, serving as Secretary of State at The Warren Report, and a stint as Coordinator for the 1 Reel Film Festival at Bumbershoot, to sitting in on the very first meeting just four short months before the debut of The Movie Crush and helping to usher along its first five years—Ranielle has deep roots in this cinematic circus.
A perennial behind-the-scenes powerhouse, she’s once again working to keep timelines tight, volunteers pointed in the right direction, and the glitter flowing on schedule. Ranielle’s résumé reads like a fever dream: from publicity to casting, festival coordination to inventory planning. Equal parts logistical wizard and emotional support cryptid, she’s here to bring the vision to life with her signature flair for chaos coordination and an occasional exasperated sigh (plus the classic non-committal ¯\_(ツ)_/¯).
